Early Years

In our early years setting we aim to provide a caring environment where children can feel safe and happy whilst encouraging independence and a curiosity for learning. We want children to develop confidence in their abilities and not be afraid to make mistakes and be willing to try new things, developing a positive attitude to learning. We are laying the foundations for future learning and want to make this an exciting positive experience.

Our Welly Wednesdays provide children with a weekly experience of the natural world and an opportunity to see first hand how the world changes through the seasons. Our learning has a very practical approach in all subjects with the opportunity to access the stimulating environment independently, both inside and out, to enable them to follow their interests during independent learning. We promote high standards of behaviour and help children learn to care for and respect themselves and others. We encourage parents to share children’s achievements outside school so we can celebrate them in school too.
